We all understand this and with that understanding we accept those risks and ride on. Sharing the road means not with cars and people but also with the present conditions, wheather it be wet, bumpy, debris, animals and ROAD construction !

Which was my point in the original comments - because you "jumped the gun" and didn't wait for the LGMSPD to respond to the questions asked in the original story.

Using an evidence photo of PPK this time that again has nothing to do with this story. At least it is less "scary" because James Bond used one. I guess every time there is a story related to guns, the Patch will put up a random photo of one to set the Hoplophobia tone.

Also, if a gun is discovered to have been stolen are the police or the DOJ required to notify the last legal owner of its recovery? Or is it up to that person to somehow "discover" that their legally owned gun has been found?
If the police and the DOJ do not run these guns though the state and federal database then aren't they potentially receiving stolen property or receiving evidence and would that not be illegal for them to not act on this?
