Goblyn's Glen and Wicked Woods have returned to Los Gatos this year to continue to scare young and old in celebration of Halloween 2013. Both events continue every weekend 7-8.30 p.m. 18-20, 24-27 and until Halloween Eve and Halloween night Oct. 30-31 at Oak Meadow Park, 233 Blossom Hill Rd. Groups are limited to four people. present a free program on planets at the Friends of Los Gatos
Library's Oct. 18 Friday Forum at 7:30 p.m. inside the Los Gatos Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St. Wiktorowicz studies starlight reflected off the atmospheres
of extra solar planets using an instrument he developed at the Lick
Observatory. An exoplanet, short for extrasolar planet, is a planet that orbits a star other than the Sun. Refreshments will be served at 7 p.m. with the program following at 7:30 p.m. Details: 408-399-5700.

'AMERICAN BOHEMIA: THE CATS ESTATE IN LOS GATOS' EXHIBIT AT HISTORY MUSEUM
The History Museum of Los Gatos at Forbes Mill, 75 Church St., presents a new exhibit called "American Bohemia: The Cats Estate in Los Gatos" noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday beginning Saturday, Oct. 19. The exhibit's opening reception is at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the museum, with the film screening of C.E.S. Wood. following at 5:30 p.m. at the former Los Gatos Library, 110 E.
