LOS GATOS YOUTH THEATRE PRESENTS 'SEUSSICAL JR.'
Los Gatos Youth Theater presents the musical Seussical Jr. at 7 p.m. Thursday July 11; 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday July 12; 2 p.m. Saturday July 13 and 2 p.m. Sunday July 14 at Blossom Hill Elementary School, 16400 Blossom Hill Rd. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children 11 years of age and under.
LOS GATOS FOOD TRUCK FEST
For the second year in a row, Russ Stanley, owner of La Hacienda, 18840 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road, continues the culinary summer series of the Los Gatos Food Fest 5-9 p.m. Friday, July 12. The weekly Friday food extravaganza officially began Friday, May 17 and features live music and the presence of hugely popular food trucks. 2ND FRIDAYS VARIETY SHOW HAPPY HOUR WITH THE WESTLEY JAZZ ENSEMBLE
Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation 55-Plus Program presents 2nd Fridays Variety Show Happy Hour featuring the Westley Jazz Ensemble 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 12 at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, 208 E. Main St. Recommended donation of $5 and everyone is welcome. Free parking, light refreshments and door prizes. Details: 408-354-1514.
VASONA VIBRATIONS CONCERT
Flatpick Sidekicks performns Saturday, July 13. For the 11th consecutive year, Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department and South Bay Folks team up to bring you free, family-friendly concerts 5-7 p.m., every Saturday in June and July at Vasona Lake County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd. The concerts began Saturday, June 1 and are located on the lawn near the Ranger Office down the hill from the pedestrian entrance at University Avenue and Pepper Tree Lane. LOS GATOS MUSIC IN THE PARK
The community nonprofit organization Los Gatos Music & Arts holds its fifth Music in the Park concert of the season at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at the Civic Center Park featuring blues singer Maxx Cabello Jr. The series ends Sunday, Aug. 25, with the performance of Talavya Indian Tabla drums. EVOLUTION OF GREEN: ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM IN SANTA CLARA VALLEY
Evolution of Green is an exhibit sharing the stories of those individuals and groups whose experiences have shaped the evolving narrative of the valley's environmental story for the past 50 years 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon-4 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday through Sept. 1 at the History Museum of Los Gatos, 75 Church St. Details: 408-354-2646.
