Learn 'Coffee and Dessert' Pairings From Famous Los Gatos Roaster Teri Hope

All proceeds benefit The Museums of Los Gatos nonprofit organization.

A "coffee and dessert" pairing event at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Ave. will benefit nonprofit The Museums of Los Gatos.

Participants will discover new ideas for holiday entertaining with a demonstration and tasting of creative dessert and coffee pairings from Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company founder and owner Teri Hope.

“When you try pairing desserts with different kinds of coffee, you begin to understand that selecting coffees with subtle flavor notes can truly enhance specific desserts, which in turn can really help you end your dinner parties on a high note,” said Hope.

With the holiday season quickly approaching, many people will be hosting parties with coffee and dessert, she added.

There is a $10 admission fee for the event, which includes the tasting.

The Museums of Los Gatos' mission is to promote community interaction through experiences in history and the visual arts, said Lynne Browne, interim executive director of the Museums of Los Gatos.

The organization aims to inspire and engage the region with innovative educational and cultural experiences, she added.

The Museums of Los Gatos includes the Art Museum of Los Gatos, the History Museum of Los Gatos, and the Los Gatos Museum Art Gallery.
