LOS GATOS FOOD TRUCK FEST

The Los Gatos Food Fest weekly summer culinary food truck series continues 5-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at La Hacienda, 18840 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road. The events officially began Friday, May 17 and feature live music and the presence of hugely popular food trucks. The event continues until Friday, Sept. 27. STEVE KAUFMAN FLATPICKING WORKSHOP AND CONCERT AT WOODSHED

Three-time Flatpicking Championship winner Steve Kaufman will get to know each student, answer questions, give pointers and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses during a two-day workshop and concert Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13-14. The Friday evening event takes place 7-9 p.m. and the Saturday event takes place 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at The Woodshed at Keith Holland Guitars, 16905 Roberts Rd. On Saturday, he’ll cover core picking skills and techniques, repertoire and building blocks for growth.
