LOS GATOS TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

The Los Gatos Town Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16 at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St. to consider a firearms land-use ordinance and a zoning code amendment related to retail sales of firearms, ammunition and/or destructive devices, home occupation permits, and fee for the firearms dealer permit. 'CAREGIVERS COUNT' SUPPORT GROUP MEETING

Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation's 55 Plus Program presents a "Caregivers Count" Support Group on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, 2:30-4 p.m., starting Sept. 17 at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center’s Lounge , 208 E. Main St. No fee and everyone is welcome. Do you know of a caregiver that might benefit from this group? Please pass this along. Details: 408-354-1514.
 
SPORTISSIMO FREE FUN RUN/WALK IN LOS GATOS

Join Sportissimo's free fun run/walk at 6 p.m. every Wednesday at 786 Blossom Hill Rd. All levels are welcome. Event consists of walking/running three miles from Los Gatos store, located inside King's Court shopping center, through Vasona Park and back. EVOLUTION OF GREEN: ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM IN SANTA CLARA VALLEY

Evolution of Green is an exhibit sharing the stories of those individuals and groups whose experiences have shaped the evolving narrative of the valley's environmental story for the past 50 years 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon-4 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday through Sept. 22 at the History Museum of Los Gatos, 75 Church St. Details: 408-354-2646.
