Attendance expected to be more than 1,000 this year for Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club's biggest fundraiser.

Rows and rows of tables of local and non-local residents eating delicious lobster meat and other side dishes filled Bachman Avenue in Los Gatos Saturday evening, spilling onto the parking lot of the Bank of America for the eighth annual Claws for a Cause fundraiser.

The cracking of the steamed marine crustaceans began at 5:30 p.m. outside , which co-sponsored the popular event along with the Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club

A $90 ticket allowed attendees access to an all-they-could-eat lobster buffet that also included tri-tip, grilled chicken and other yummy food, cookies and wine and beer on tap for a small corkage fee.
