The Feb. 2 Super Bowl will be the first outdoor title game played in a cold weather city.
It won't be the Super Bowl many Bay Area residents wanted after what from a San Francisco 49ers' standpoint was a crushing 23-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday's NFC championship game.
But we might as well enjoy it. Super Bowl XLVIII is the only Super Bowl we're going to get.
It figures to be a good one, as Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning leads the NFL's most potent passing attack against Seattle's "Legion of Doom" secondary.
