The Los Gatos Union and the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High school districts have their board of education meetings tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Thomas P. O'Donnell District Office board room, 17010 Roberts Rd., and at the Saratoga High School, 20300 Herriman Ave., respectively.
Los Gatos Union School District trustees will consider the following topics:
- Developer Fee Justification Study and adopt a resolution to increase statutory school facility fees
- Initial collective bargaining proposals from the Los Gatos Elementary Teachers Association
- Parcel Tax Oversight Committee annual report
- Facilities master plan based on recommendations from the Imagine LGUSD 2022 stakeholders
- Superintendent's goals for 2012-13 school year
- Los Gatos Education Foundation grants for 2013-14 school year
The Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District trustees will consider the following:
- District Teachers Association Sunshine Letter, opening negotiations for
2012‐13 - Update regarding the New Tech High proposal for Los Gatos High School
- Update regarding discussions with the LGHS community relating to the freshman transition plan
- Suspend implementation of the adopted graduation requirements effective June
5, 2012 at Saratoga High School - Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment program and instructional coaching, 2012‐13
- An overview of district achievement data, 2011‐12
- Review of facility projects for possible funding
- Approve plan for student achievement, LGHS, 2012‐13
- Approve plan for student achievement, SHS, 2012‐13
- Approve proposed calendar for school year 2013‐14
- Accept donation of $3,000 to the Saratoga High School pool lighting project
