What to Expect From Tonight's School Board Meeting
Los Gatos Union School District trustees meet at 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 15 at Daves Avenue Elementary School cafeteria, 17770 Daves Ave.
The Board of Education meets at 5 p.m., tonight, Tuesday, May 15 in the cafeteria, 17770 Daves Ave., to discuss the following issues:
- Recognition of Teacher of the Year Jim Fredette and distinguished employees for the 2011-12 school year.
- LGUSD Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Bitsey Stark, along with Carol Schmitt, will present the Los Gatos Goes Green, or LG3 Student Leadership team to trustees. Students from each school will update the board on their work.
- Stark will present an update of the
- Declaration of need for fully qualified educators.
- 2022 Long-Term Facilities Master Planning efforts update.
- 2012-13 Budget planning update, with budget being presented at the June 19, board meeting for approval.
- Final draft of the Financial Advisory Committee bylaws.
- Board meeting schedule for the 2012-13 school year.
