Los Gatos Patch reader Lu Ann Flechsig tipped us off to this photo of Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Chief Scott Seaman and Los who were emcees at the March 28 YMCA's Project Cornerstone 2013 Asset Champions Breakfast at the Santa Clara County Convention Center.

According to Lu Ann Flechsig, Steve Young was the guest speaker and the event was sold out with about 1,250 people in attendance.

"Project Cornerstone is an awesome organization," Lu Ann Flechsig said of the the program that honors individuals and organizations whose commitment to building positive relationships with young people make Silicon Valley a better place for young people to live and grow.

What is an asset champion? They are individuals or organizations that make extraordinary efforts to build developmental assets, create positive connections with young people, and inspire others to do the same, according to Project Cornerstone.
