Everything about the graduation Friday evening was perfect.
The students receiving their diplomas looked sharp in their black and white caps and gowns.
The sprawling front lawn of the high school, established in 1887, was well decorated and set up with neatly placed white chairs for the thousands of family and friends who had come to participate in the ceremony.
The stage was decorated with orange and black ribbons.
The afternoon was cool and breezy, yet the sun was still shining.
It was one more successful high school commencement program in Los Gatos and the promotion of students represented the 124th graduating class this year.
