The cast is led by director Heather Stokes. The musical will transport audiences to a fictional spelling bee set in fictional Putnam Valley Middle School.

Its plot centers on the unlikeliest of heroes—a quirky yet charming cast of six adolescent outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.
