Trustees lauded Dale for her “hundreds, if not thousands of hours of volunteer work” as president of the Daves Avenue Home and School Club, classroom volunteer, library volunteer, member of the LGUSD Strategic Planning Committee and LGUSD Technology Committee.
Dale received flowers and her name will be added to a plaque to commemorate the award.
LGUSD Superintendent Diana Abbati said that Dale has a commitment to excellence and a willingness to serve the community and that Los Gatos has benefited greatly from her contributions.
She added that Dale is thoughtful and also has a wonderful sense of humor.
Abbati also commended Dale’s daughters and her husband saying that a volunteer commitment like Dale’s would not be possible without the support of her family.
