Bound Genius is a boutique branch of the renowned Young Genius Educational Center located in downtown Los Gatos, CA. CBG specializes in all the necessary services which prepare your child to ascend to the next step in his life with the best possible arsenal.
We teach students in small groups or one-one-on so that we can focus on each student’s weaknesses and develop a curriculum to target those problem areas. Our teachers are from top colleges in California and are professionals in the Bay Area. They are well versed in the college process, thus our teachers not only help raise your child's entrance exam scores but they also mentor the student to reach his/her full potential and ultimately end up in the college of his/her dreams.

SATII Preparation
Subjects we teach: Literature, US History, World History, Math level 1 and 2, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
We offer two types of programs: one for novices who have never taken the test and need general preparation and another for experienced students who have already taken the test and are looking to improve their score in specific areas.
Our teachers are highly skilled and qualified to teach SATII subjects:
- Our Physics instructor holds a PhD in Physics and works for a top engineering company in Silicon Valley.
- Our Chemistry and Biology instructor has recently retired from Intel. In the past, he has raised his students' averages in AP Biology and Chemistry in mere weeks.
- Our English instructor is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Literature and writing at the University of San Diego.
- Our Math instructor holds a masters degree in electric engineering and has been teaching math for 10 years both privately and in schools.
- Our History instructor teaches AP World and US History at a Logan High School in Union City, and has prepared numerous students for both the AP and SATII tests.
To receive an evaluation on your recommended action plan, please contact us directly. Since every student is different CBG does not have a generic preparation plan available for your view. The amount of recommended sessions will vary according to each student's skill level.
Just remember, only up to 3 subject tests can be taken at any one test date and SATII tests cannot be combined with an SAT test on one test date.
