Young Genius Educational Center is offering Middle School Speech/Debate Summer Camp for beginners:
July 9-July 27 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Young Genius Speech/Debate Academy is conducting one of the strongest Speech & Debate programs in the Bay Area. The clear intent of our classes is to prepare students for Middle School and High School tournaments held around the Bay Area. We encourage our students to compete, however it is not necessary.

During our Speech/Debate courses students will learn public speaking, cross examination, basic research, and critical thinking in order to construct a set of arguments and defend their position.

Participating on a Speech/Debate team not only enhances students' reading comprehension and writing skills, but also increases the students' chances of being accepted to their desired high school or college. Students apply the skills they learned during the debate training to score higher on SAT and other standardized tests as well as to improve their GPA.

Young Genius Middle School Speech/Debate team is a part of the National Junior League, which places our students on the same competitive level as other national high school teams. Thus, many of our Middle School students compete against high school students and even win numerous awards.\
