Guitar - Country and Bluegrass Basics

 If you can play open chords, and would like to add some flair to your songs to make them more interesting, you will enjoy this class. We will focus on Country and Bluegrass styles of strumming and picking. Learn how to transpose, read tablature, and link chords using a series of bass note walk ups and walk downs.

Learn how to play a "fill" an "intro" and "ending" along with some tips, tricks, and licks. If you are a singer songwriter, or just like to sing songs< you will have fun in this class. Students will bring in songs to play. A steel string guitar is required for this class. Materials fee of $10.00 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class. Sign ups through Los Gatos Rec. Dept.
