You will hear emerging ideas that suggest that grades and academic learning in elementary and middle school remains an important predictor. But you will also hear that the grades no longer are sufficient to ensure future success. In fact, two of the featured speakers are high school seniors that have accomplished much in their short academic career. These students have started companies, created software products, won dozens of awards, and have been admitted to leading universities such as Stanford. The event will also feature three young students - Social Kids - who have already started to walk down the path that of the aforementioned high school students.
