C2 Education, an academic tutoring service for K-12 students, has opened a new location in Los Gatos at 15545 Los Gatos Blvd. suite B and will celebrate its grand opening tonight 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10.
the public is invited to stop by for its ribbon cutting ceremony which will be attended by Los Gatos government officials and Chamber of Commerce representatives. After the business' inauguration, the public is invited to enjoy food and drinks.
C2 Education's academic advising team will be on hand to help those interested learn how the business helps students be more successful. Parents and their children can also sign up for a free assessment test and academic consultation, the event announcement said.
Attendees will also receive a voucher good for up to $500 off in C2 services. The voucher provides 10 percent off tuition up to a maximum of $500.
According to the company's website, C2 Education began as a private tutoring program run out of a Harvard University dorm room. Since then, C2 has grown to include 110 centers nationwide, serving more than 12,000 students and their families each week.
"We are now the nation’s fastest-growing network of personal tutoring, ACT/SAT test help and educational support centers, offering customized curricula, personalized attention and a wide variety of enrichment services for students in elementary school, middle school and high school," the website stated in its "about us" information.
The business also offers one-on-one academic assistance for math, reading, writing and other subjects, as well as AP course support and ACT/SAT preparation. It gives college admissions counseling for students in grades 8-12.
