3 Los Gatos Youth Are in South Bay Teen Idol Finals

Los Gatos High School students Katie Brown and Liat Rubin and Raymond Fisher Middle School student Sarah Aaldering are among 10 finalists competing in the second annual South Bay Teen Idol finals at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center Auditorium, 14855 Oka Rd.

Natasha Turcan of Leigh High School is also competing.

The winner will receive a $2,500 scholarship and $500 for their school during the competition, which is similar to the popular Fox TV show American Idol.

Judges will choose the top three contestants and then the audience will vote for their favorite who will become the 2013 South Bay Teen Idol.

This year's judges are Randy Jones, KRTY; Robert Hayes, CEO, Sound Management San Jose; and Ruth Pangilinan, Executive Producer at Three Doves Media and former General Manager of Broadway San Jose.
