'The Highlands of Los Gatos' Homes Now on The Market

Custom estate homes are priced in the $4 million range.

The Highlands of Los Gatos is the latest subdivision in town being advertised on real estate publications as having homes for sale, along with Montecito, and Laurel Mews.

According to its website, the project was conceived to "bring the great housing styles of the world together in one magnificent setting.

"European romantics like 'Provence Hill Town,' 'IItalian Villa' and 'Classical Spanish' estates blend with more modern 'Prairie' and 'Woodland Contemporary' expressions, all situated amongst the rolling, oak covered foothills of the Southern Bay Area."

The subdivision, built by Davidon Homes, includes more than 67 acres on a "secluded hilltop" offering prospective home buyers views of the spectacular Santa Cruz Mountains, said a recent advertisement on the New Home Finder section of the Mercury News.

The homes' prices can start from the $4 million range and vary in size from 6,000 to about 7,000 square feet.

The Highlands of Los Gatos' real estate office is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Sunday at 15672 Shady Lane in Los Gatos.
