Los Gatos New Home Subdivision 'Laurel Mews' Is Now on The Market

Houses built at former Honda dealership site on Los Gatos Boulevard now open, smaller floor plans not released yet.

Laurel Mews, Los Gatos' latest residential community of 22 new single-family homes located at Los Gatos Boulevard and Roberts Road, is now open to the public.

The two-story, cottage style homes range in size from approximately 1,800 to 3,500 square feet with three or four bedrooms and 2.5 to 4.5 baths.

They were built by San Jose-based Robson Homes at the site of the former Honda dealership on about two acres.

One of the homes, 16220 George St., is being offered for $1,998,000. The 3,101-square-foot floor plan features four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, plus a family room and fully finished basement with bar.

The home spans more than 3,100 square feet with an open kitchen and family room, a "great room," and the bedrooms upstairs.

Laurel Mews' smaller floor plans, between 1,800 and 2,000 square feet, have not been released yet, according to a sales person at the company's headquarters.

The builder also has new homes for sale in Fremont and Milpitas. The projects are called Heritage Lane and Sundrop Circle, respectively.

Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Director Todd Capurso said trees and other landscaping that's been planted on the Los Gatos Boulevard median island were  requirement from the builder.

The median and all associated plantings and irrigation were installed by Robson Homes, at no cost to the town, between Roberts Road and Mitchell Avenue, Capurso said.

The improvements are located south of Blossom Hill Road and consist of Redwood trees, he added.
