What to Expect From Tonight's Town Council Meeting

A resolution increasing certain municipal fees during fiscal year 2012-13 will be considered and Council will present several commendations to local entities.

The Los Gatos Town Council will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, April 16, at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St. to discuss the following:

Presentations:

  • Arbor Day Proclamation
  • Mexican Restaurant
  • Federal Realty Investment Trust
  • Lighting for Literacy Youth Group

On the consent agenda, which allows the five-member body to approve items with one vote and no public comment, are:

  • Adopt a resolution approving the amended contract for the improvement of 15928 Union Ave.
  • Authorize Los Gatos Town Manager Greg Larson to execute an amended contract for the improvement of 15928 Union Ave.
  • Adopt a resolution approving the request to rename tract No. 9969 Highlands Drive and Highlands Court to Santella Drive and Santella Court.
  • Accept report on the permanent installation of traffic calming devices for the Short Road neighborhood Short Road.

On the public hearing portion of the agenda, which allows concerned residents three minutes to speak on any issue:

  • Adopt a resolution increasing certain municipal fees during fiscal year 2012-13.
