What to Expect From Tonight's Planning Commission Meeting

Office uses at a building located at 114 Royce St. in downtown Los Gatos will be considered.

The Los Gatos Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St., to consider the following topics.

On the consent agenda, which allows planners to approve items without public comment, unless an issue is pulled from the agenda:

  • Applicant and property owner Ravi Shankar is requesting approval to demolish a single family residence and secondary dwelling unit at 2 Brickway Court, to construct a single family residence with reduced setbacks on a non-conforming lot, and to waive the requirement to underground utilities on property zoned RM-12:20.

  • Hallway Partners LLC, owners of the building at 114 Royce St., area requesting to amend permitted uses in downtown Los Gatos' central business district commercial zone to allow offices. 
  • Property owners Kelly and Margaret Ryan and applicant architect Gary Kohlsaat are requesting approval to demolish an existing single-family residence at 109 Spreckles Ave. to construct a new residence on property zoned R-1:20, meaning one home on a 20,000-square-feet lot.
