What to Expect From Tonight's Los Gatos Planning Commission Meeting

Netflix's future location project is on the agenda.

The Los Gatos Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St., to consider the following topics:

  • Property owner 217 O’Connor LLC. and applicant Tony Jeans, T.H.I.S. Design request approval to construct a new single-family residence on property zoned R-1:8 at 15928 Union Ave.
  • Property owner TFR Management Group and applicant Rano Perrigo request approval to exceed the maximum floor area and construct an addition to a single-family residence resulting in a floor area more than 5,000 square feet on property zoned HR-1 at 15975 Cerro Vista Drive.
  • Property owner Los Gatos Business Park LLC. and applicant John R. Shenk are seeking a so-called planned development application, an architecture and site application and an Environmental Impact Report for property located at 90-160 Albright Way and 14600 Winchester Blvd., where Netflix hopes to expand to.
  • There will be public comment on the Draft EIR regarding the request to modify the existing planned development to allow for redevelopment of the existing site with up to 550,000 square feet of new office/commercial buildings and approval to construct the improvements represented in the planned development.  No formal action will be taken at this meeting. An EIR has been prepared as required by the California Environmental Quality Act.
