The library's Saturday closure is due to an electrical shutdown for the installation of a new emergency generator, which will replace the old one behind Town Hall. The equipment is part of the refurbishment and revitalization of the area related to the new library construction project, said Town Manager Greg Larson. The current generator is located by Pageant Park, behind the Civic Center.

Despite the library's closure, the town's council chambers' lobby will be open for the Friends of the Library quarterly book sale 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Larson said.
