Today is Last Chance to Register to Vote in June 5 Primary Election

Today, Monday, May 21, is the last day to register to vote in the June 5 primary election, according to the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voter's Office.

To register to vote in Santa Clara County, voters can pick up a registration form at the Los Gatos Civic Center, 110 E. Main St., until 5 p.m., today.

Forms are also available at the Department of Motor Vehicles, U.S. Post Office and county election offices. Voters must sign and submit their forms in person or by mail postmarked today to meet the requirement, according to the Registrar.

Voters can call the Registrar if they have questions at 1-866-VOTE.

For those that wish to vote by mail, the deadline to submit a request is 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 29. Only registered voters can request a vote-by-mail ballot.
