Results Are In After a Soggy Week

Heavy rains fell throughout Northern California, filling reservoirs and soaking cities.

The results are in–5.60 inches on rain fell on Los Gatos over the past seven days, according to the National Weather Service.

No precipitation was recorded by the weather service during the same days last year.

A total of 2.82 inches of rain fell on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Rain has fallen throughout Northern California, filling many reservoirs throughout the region and causing spillover conditions in local reservoirs like Lexington and Vasona dams, according to the Santa Clara Valley Water District.

On Thurday night, waters were spilling from Lexington, to Los Gatos Creek, to Vasona.

If you’re getting used to your umbrella, though, you might be disappointed—forecasts predict sun for next week.
