"Saw these on my morning walk on the Creek Trail. Seems the graffiti vandals are getting more brazen," Bevis wrote to this publication with a request that we publish the pictures.

We visited the trail this weekend to see if the graffiti had been cleaned up, and discovered it's still there and growing. We're adding new pictures of the vandalism with this post.

PROBLEM: Graffiti has been spray-painted along various parts of the trail just after passing the Roberts Road Bridge.

RESPONSIBLE PARTY: Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Department, 408-399-5770, or email ppw@losgatosca.gov.

I'd love to see some public art on these walls...and give some space to the LGHS art department. There are talented artists in our community who could better fill these empty "canvasses."

This is never going to stop. Like I've been saying they need to invent some sort of paint that nothing is able to be sprayed on etc.

We checked on the status of the cleanup with our county parks department, and learned that the graffiti in question is on the bridge abutments and support columns for the Blossom Hill Rd bridge where it crosses the creek. The bridge is in the Town of Los Gatos jurisdiction as the county property ends just to the north of the bridge. In order to get the graffiti cleaned up, we have asked our parks department to notify the Town for their attention. Thank you for bringing this issue to light! Thank you, Elizabeth. I have also emailed Los Gatos Parks and Public Works and haven't heard back. Now we now it's in their jurisdiction and hopefully someone will clean it up. It's been there for more than a month now ... and growing ...
