Los Gatos Road Resurfacing Begins Aug. 12

New slurry seal and re-striping project will close streets to traffic in the evening hours, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Property owners and merchants along and adjacent to West Main Street, North Santa Cruz Avenue and University Avenue have received notices that the town is about to start a new slurry seal and re-striping project on Aug. 12.

The slurry seal application on West Main Street—from the Highway 17 bridge to Bayview Avenue—and University Avenue—from Main Street to Highway 9—will take place Monday night, Aug. 12, the town said.

The slurry seal application on Santa Cruz Avenue—from Main Street to Highway 9—will take place on Tuesday night, Aug. 13.

Streets will be closed off to traffic from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

All sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians and parking will remain open on all side streets.
