Local MoveOn Members Rally for Jobs at Honda's Office

Demonstration takes place in Campbell this afternoon.

A local group of MoveOn members rallied today outside of Congressman Mike Honda's (D-San Jose) Pruneyard office in Campbell to demand jobs.

The members, called the Mid-Peninsula American Dream Council, picketed at 12:30 p.m to promote jobs, according to a statement released by MPADC member Andrew Johnson.

The group will “discuss ways to promote new jobs in response to the Republican spending cuts, as well as voice their concerns regarding the inability of Congress to raise revenues,” according to the statement.
