The Los Gatos Town Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St. to consider the following items:
- Commendations for the 2012 Santa Clara Valley Science and Engineering Fair winners awards, LEED Gold Certification for Town Library, Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for fiscal year ending June 30, 2011.
On the consent agenda, which allows the five-member body to approve items with one vote, unless an issue is pulled for discussion, are:
- Accept first quarter investment report for fiscal year 2012-13, July through September 2012
- Property owner/applicant Hallway Partners LLC. requests zoning code amendment in the central business district to allow offices at 114 Royce St.
- Property owner Villa Vasona Ltd. and applicant Highland Property Development request modifications to an existing planned development ordinance to remove existing covenants at 626 W. Parr Ave,
- Hazardous vegetation abatement
- Completion of Wedgewood Avenue improvements, Mulberry Drive to Granada Way
- Completion of curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement project
- Completion of Hicks Road and Phillips Avenue storm drain culvert improvements
- Completion of street repair and resurfacing project
- Completion of Los Gatos Creekside Sports Park
- Completion of University Avenue sidewalk/Creekside Sports Park
- Completion of Pageant Grounds retaining wall construction project
On the public hearing portion of the agenda, which allows concerned residents three minutes to speak on any issue:
- Appointment of mayor and vice mayor
- Democracy in Action reception in Council chambers lobby, sponsored by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce
