YMCA Aquatics Director Arrested For DUI in Los Gatos

Woman faces five misdemeanor vehicle code violations, including two for outstanding DUI warrants and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

A YMCA aquatics director in San Jose who lives in Los Gatos has been arrested for two outstanding DUI warrants and other misdemeanor vehicle code violations by Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies.

Jessica Kravin, 27, was taken into custody at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 19 on Union Avenue in Los Gatos where she resides after deputies learned she had the two outstanding drinking and driving violations and other vehicle code infractions.

She's also been charged with misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and driving a motor vehicle having knowledge of the suspension or revocation.

Kravin also faces a misdemeanor for driving with a suspended license and an infraction for having an expired registration.

Her bail amount was listed as $31,000.

Employees at the South Valley Family Santa Teresa YMCA, 5632 Santa Teresa Blvd., confirmed Monday she's employed there and said she's over the agency's aquatics program, which oversees the swim team and dozens of swimming lessons for children and adults.

Calls to the agency seeking comment were not immediately returned Monday afternoon.
