Week in Crime: 10 Incidents of DUI

Friday, April 8

1:33 a.m., Pine Cone Court and Vineland Avenue: Two suspects, one of whom is known to have warrants, were pursued by police while running to their car. One fled the scene while the other, without identification, gave his brother's name to police. The latter suspect was booked into county jail.

8:18 p.m., 15 No. Santa Cruz Ave.: Inside Mountain Charley's Saloon, a physical disturbance occurred.

12:04 p.m., 16045 Camino Del Cerro: A report was made regarding an incident of identity theft.

Saturday, April 9

2:26 a.m., Saratoga-Los Gatos Road and Rose Avenue: Brittany Obot was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Sunday, April 10

1:38 a.m., 110 E. Main St.: Kyle Six was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

2:11 a.m., Los Gatos Boulevard and Samaritan Drive: Kevin Bertron was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

10:14 a.m., 14685 Oka Rd: Brian Williams was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for an outstanding bench warrant.

11:27 a.m., Winchester Boulevard and Daves Avenue: Matthew Barbaccia was arrested for a bench warrant and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.

6:01 p.m., 16370 Lilac Lane: A prior incident of grand theft was reported.

Monday, April 11

1:49 a.m., Lark Avenue and Garden Hill Drive: Steven Danell was stopped for a vehicle code violation and subsequently found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, according to a police report. He was then found to be in possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for sale. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.

1:36 p.m., West Main Street and North Santa Cruz Avenue: Afsaneh Bahar Khoshkbariie was arrested for an out-of-county bench warrant.

2:12 p.m., 16422 Peacock Lane: In an incident of identity theft, an account was opened in the victim's name by an unknown suspect.

Tuesday, April 12

11:55 a.m., 15899 Los Gatos Blvd.: Keys were stolen from a table at a restaurant.

2:50 p.m., 486 Wraight Ave.: A prior residential burglary was reported to police.

10:27 p.m., 9 No. Santa Cruz Ave.: A mountain bike was reported stolen from the location.

Thursday, April 14

Midnight, Winchester Boulevard and Knowles Drive: Robert Carrillo was stopped for a vehicle code violation and was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest.

10:50 a.m., 16791 Frank Ave.: An incident of domestic violence was reported to police, and the suspect was subsequently arrested.

1:31 p.m., 416 Los Gatos-Almaden Rd.: An assault involving a deadly weapon was reported to police.

Friday, April 15

1:39 a.m., Blossom Hill Road and Los Gatos Boulevard: Caroline Lyle and Siddhartha Rakim Ferrari were stopped for a vehicle code violation. One was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, according to a police report. The other was found to be in possession of a loaded, unregistered firearm and a switchblade knife, the report said. Both were arrested.

1:55 a.m., Northbound Highway 17 and Lark Avenue: Jonathan Senior was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

11:48 a.m., 131 Ann Arbor Dr.: An incident of petty theft occurred, involving parts of a vehicle.

4:30 p.m., Lark Avenue and Highland Oaks Drive: Steven Espinoza was cited for an outstanding warrant and released with a new court date.

10:01 p.m., Carlton and National avenues: Stolen license plates were recovered from the back of a silver Pontiac sedan, which was registered out of Los Gatos.

Saturday, April 16

Midnight, Cherry Blossom Lane and Los Gatos-Almaden Road: Sean Robert Kench was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

1:28 a.m., Central Court and Grove Street: An abandoned bicycle was discovered.

3:48 a.m., National Avenue and Samaritan Drive: Spencer Christian Belville was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

2:50 p.m., 50 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd.: Management at a hotel found a stolen vehicle.

6:08 p.m., 27 No. Santa Cruz Ave.: A wallet was reported stolen out of a woman's purse at a restaurant.

8:54 p.m., 15736 Winchester Blvd.: Michael Reeves was arrested and booked into county jail for a warrant.

Sunday, April 17

Midnight, Lyndon Avenue and West Main Street: William Perez was arrested for being drunk in public.

2:47 a.m., College Avenue and East Main Street: Sharlene Ragini Prasad was found by police to be sleeping in her vehicle after being involved in a hit-and-run accident. She was then found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

6:07 p.m., North Santa Cruz Avenue and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road: Corey Baker was arrested for being drunk in public.

6:51 p.m., 15600 Los Gatos Blvd.: At the empty Chevy dealership, two youths were confronted after breaking windows.

9:44 p.m., 15549 Union Ave.: Raymond Lewis entered Safeway with stolen credit card numbers to be used to purchase gift cards, but left when confronted by police.

11:30 p.m., 127 No. Santa Cruz Ave.: Armen Abrahamyan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
