The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help tracking down a man who sexually assaulted a teenage woman at a Cupertino college earlier this month.

On Nov. 4 at De Anza College, at 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino, a 19-year-old student at the school reported that she had been sexually assaulted in a bathroom at the campus' Media and Learning Center building, sheriff's officials said.

The victim said she was in a first-floor women's bathroom when the suspect entered the stall she was in and assaulted her, according to sheriff's officials.

She identified the suspect as a De Anza College student based on prior interactions she had with him on campus, but said she is not friends with him and does not know his true name, sheriff's officials said.

She said she believes the suspect answers to the name Johnny, sheriff's officials said.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his early 20s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, and about 180 to 200 pounds, officials said.

He has shoulder length dark brown hair, brown eyes, prominent acne around the chin area and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored long sleeve button-up shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the sheriff's office at 408-808-4500 or anonymously at 408- 808-4431.
