Sheriff’s Arrests: Grand Theft, Hit-and-Run, Battery

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office’s arrest and booking reports for June 30 to July 4, 2012. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

 

DUI

  • Mikael Olsson, 21, of Cupertino, June 30, 2:40 a.m., at De Anza Blvd. and I-280 in Cupertino, for DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
  • David Velasco, 29, of Campbell, July 2, 11:30 a.m., at 205 W Hedding St. in San Jose, for driving with a 0.08 or higher blood alcohol content.
  • Mark Berke, 31, of Cupertino, July 2, 3:00 p.m., at 270 Grant Ave. in Palo Alto, for driving with a 0.08 or high blood alcohol content.
  • Tony Craythorne, 43, of Los Gatos, July 2, 5:00 p.m., at 18298 Coyote Road in Morgan Hill, for operating a watercraft while under the influence. Bail set at $4,224.

Grand Theft

  • Miguel Gutierrez, 22, of San Jose, June 30, 10:30 a.m., at 1196 Great Mall Drive in Milpitas, for grand theft and failure to pay public transit system.
  • Lance Kirske, 33, of Campbell, July 3, 10:55 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, 55 W Younger Ave. in San Jose for grand theft of personal property and forgery of an instrument.

Possession

  • Percy Bates, 52, of Mountain View, June 30, 8:20 p.m., at 3051 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Santa Clara, for possession of narcotics, controlled substance and burglary tools and for petty theft with specified prior. Bail set at $16,000.
  • Peter Spohr, 52, of Gilroy, July 1, 1:20 a.m. at 1st St. and Wren Ave. in Gilroy, for unlawful possession of paraphernalia and using or being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail set at $6,000.
  • George Coon, 69, of Gilroy, July 1, 11:35 p.m., at 1st St. in Gilroy, for misdemeanor using or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • Ruelyn Ceniza, 28, of Milpitas, July 2, 10:10 a.m., at the Terraine Courthouse, 115 Terraine St. in San Jose, for using or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • Richard Ashford, 43, of Campbell, July 3, 3:00 p.m., at the Terraine Courthouse, 115 Terraine St. in San Jose, for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Todd Andreasen, 36, of Cupertino, July 4, 7:30 p.m., at McClellan Road and Linda Vista Drive in Cupertino, for misdemeanor under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance.

Hit-and-Run

  • Angelo Marchi, 43, of Cupertino, June 30, 11:40 p.m., at 21258 Stevens Creek Blvd. in San Jose, for a misdemeanor citation related to a hit-and-run and DUI. Bail set at $6,000.

Assault

  • Theresa Kohlerruda, 51, of Felton, July 1, 12:10 p.m., at 2845 Day Road in Gilroy, for a felony assault with a deadly weapon. Bail set at $30,000.

Domestic Violence

  • Ashley Evans, 21, of Campbell, July 1, 5:09 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, 55 W Younger Ave. in San Jose, for battery against a spouse or cohabitant.
  • Jeremy Romero, 20, of Gilroy, July 2, 8:02 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, 55 W Younger Ave. in San Jose, for battery against a spouse or cohabitant.

False Identity

  • Juan Flores, 31, of Milpitas, July 2, 11:33 a.m., at 3700 N 1st St. in San Jose, for parole hold and misrepresenting with a false identity to a police officer.

Vehicle Code Violation

  • David Carrillo, 27, of Gilroy, July 2, 8:23 a.m., at Monterey Road and Buena Vista Ave. in Gilroy, for driving with privileges suspended or revoked and improper lighting equipment type.
  • Willie Scott, 25, of Cupertino, July 3, 8:25 a.m., at 10625 S Foothill Blvd. in Cupertino, for driving with privileges suspended or revoked and failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility.
  • Terrell Gentry, 36, July 4, 12:26 a.m., at S De Anza Blvd and Wildflower Way in Cupertino, for parole hold, driving with privileges suspended or revoked, and DUI.

Petty Theft

  • Nicholas Colmon, 20, of Gilroy, July 2, 2:00 p.m., at 301 Diana Ave. in Morgan Hill, for petty theft of personal property and possession of a controlled substance.

Obstruction of Justice

  • Brandon Lin, 28, of Cupertino, July 3, 10:30 p.m., at Stevens Creek Blvd. and Stelling Rd. in Cupertino, for unlawfully and maliciously removing or destroying a wireless communication device and dissuading a witness from reporting a victimization.
