Resisting, Delaying, Obstructing Officer, Under the Influence, Willful Harm/Injury to Child

Kimberly Grill, 47, 12:15 a.m., of Fresno, at Casa de Fruta on Pacheco Pass Highway in Gilroy, for two misdemeanor charges of resisting, delaying, obstructing an officer, using or being under the influence of a controlled substance and felony willful harm/injury to child.

DUI

  • Boren Gao, 53, 11 p.m., of Cupertino, at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Perimeter Road in Cupertino, for driving under the influence.
  • Francisco Prado, 43, 1:01 a.m., of San Jose, at White Road and Mt. McKinley Drive in San Jose, for driving under the influence.
  • Hugo Ortiz, 35, 1:45 a.m., of San Jose, at White Road and Mt. Vista, for DUI.
  • Jessica Solis, 20, 11:15 a.m., of Union City, at 200 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for DUI.
  • Manuelo Arevalo, 33, 3:35 p.m., of San Francisco, at 200 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for DUI.
  • Lizardo Velasquez, 46, 3:10 p.m., of San Jose, at 270 Grant Ave., in Palo Alto, for DUI and being under the influence.

Suspended License

Benito Miranda, 24, 9:30 a.m., of San Jose, at 200 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for driving with a suspended license.

Domestic Violence/Under the Influence

Eric Afflerback, 23, 10 a.m., of Santa Clara, at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for violation of protective order, inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant and using/being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Appropriation of Lost Property

Christina Vasquez, 24, 11:30 a.m., a transient, at 433 Arleta Av., for appropriation of lost property. Bail set at $10,000.

Suspended License

Kyle Navarre, 24, 10:30 a.m., of Sunnyvale, at W. Hedding and Guadalupe in San Jose, for driving on a suspended license.

False Imprisonment/Criminal Threats

Juan Juarez, 50, 8:40 a.m., of Sunnyvale, at Sacramento County Jail, for false imprisonment with violence and criminal threats.

Resisting, Delaying, Obstructing Officer, Driving With Privileges Suspended, DUI

Freddie Romero, 28, 3:15 p.m., of San Jose at 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose, for resisting, delaying, obstructing officer, driving with privileges suspended and  DUI.

Possession

  • Abygail Mendoza, 24, 1:45 a.m., of San Jose, at Parkmoor and Menker in San Jose, for felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Manuel Fonseca, 27, 9:30 a.m., of Gilroy, at the South County Courthouse, 701 Diana in Dept. 110 in Morgan Hill, for possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams, manufacturing, selling airgaugeknif and possession of marijuana, hash for sale.
  • Anne Santos, 28, 11:25 a.m., of Mountain View,  at 270 Grant Ave. in Palo Alto, for possession of a controlled substance/paraphernalia.

Assault With Deadly Weapon

Travis Dalla, 25, 8:40 a.m., of San Martin, at the South County Courthouse, 701 Diana in Dept. 110 in Morgan Hill, for assault with a deadly weapon. Bail set at $25,000.

DUI/Driving With Privileges Suspended/Revoked

Carlos Tugle, 45, 9:35 a.m., of Mountain View, at 270 Grant Ave., in Palo Alto, for driving with privileges suspended/revoked, DUI.

Trespass/Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs/Controlled Substance

Steven Clark, 46, 9:20 a.m., of Mountain View, at 270 Grant Ave., in Palo Alto, for trespassing, being under the influence.

Parole Hold/Possession

Larry Howard, 26, 5 p.m., of San Jose, at 985 Hellyer Ave. in San Jose, for parole hold and possession of a controlled substance.

I just emailed Sgt. Stephen Walpole, but he's on vacation until June 20. I last reported on a rapeRead More at the Los Gatos Lodge in March, but Sgt. Harris back then said the department's records unit need time to research just how many of these sex crimes had been reported to police. I'll check with the district.
