Sheriff's Arrests: Assault with Deadly Weapon

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's arrests and booking reports for Aug. 25-27, 2012. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

DUI

  • Santos Martinez, 23, of Morgan Hill, Aug. 26, 2 a.m., at Llamas and Middle in Morgan Hill, for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Raul Saavedra, 21, of Morgan Hill, Aug. 27, 2 p.m., at the South County Courthouse, for DUI.
  • Filomeno Ramos, 21, of Gilroy, Aug. 27, 2 p.m., at the South County Courthouse, for DUI.

Possession

  • Joshua Flores, 27, of San Jose, Aug. 26, 2:30 a.m., at Quito and Paseo Pubelo in Saratoga, for felony possession of controlled substance. Bail set at $25,000.
  • Jose Sanchez, 48, of San Martin, Aug. 27, 6:39 a.m., at 13515 Murphy Ave. in San Martin, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
  • Gilbert Reyes, 49, of San Jose, Aug. 27, 2:30 p.m., at Los Gatos Creek Park, for misdemeanor being under the influence of alcohol/drugs/controlled substance. Bail set at $250.
  • Dennis Sandoval, 52, of Gilroy, Aug. 27, 11:52 p.m., at Travelpack and Monterey in Gilroy, for misdemeanor using/being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail set at $12,500.

Domestic Violence

  • Weina Tang, 38, of Saratoga, Aug. 26, 1:30 p.m., at 20436 Seagull Way in Saratoga, for felony inflicting corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant. Bail set at $25,000.

Parole Hold

  • Steven Jiminez, 28, of Gilroy, Aug. 27, 2:18 a.m., at Egleberry and 8th in Gilroy, for felony parole hold.

Assault

  • Melissa Misner, 45, of Morgan Hill, Aug. 27, 10 a.m., at Diane and Butterlfield in Morgan Hill, for felony assault with deadly weapon.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Christopher Tucker, 31, of South San Francisco, Aug. 27, 11:30 a.m., at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto, for misdemeanor suspended license.
  • Ralph Molina, of Campbell, Aug. 27, 3:30 p.m., at the Los Angeles County Jail, for misdemeanor suspended license and driving under the influence.
  • David Guevara, 55, of Gilroy, Aug. 27, 1:30 p.m., at the San Jose Hall of Justice, 190 W. Hedding St., for misdemeanor unlawful registration, suspended license, challenge to fight in a public place, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and expired registration. Bail set at $5,000.
  • Israel Silva, 28, of Morgan Hill, Aug. 27, 2 p.m., at Doama Avenue and Butterfield in Morgan Hill, for misdemeanor suspended license.
  • Andrina Serrano, 19, of Redwood City, Aug. 27, 2 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Courthouse in Palo Alto, for misdemeanor hit-and-run, driving while unlicensed and DUI.
  • Abel Chairez, 24, of Morgan Hill, Aug. 27, 1:45 p.m., at the South County Courthouse, for misdemeanor DUI and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer.
  • Matt Lamonico, 45, of Campbell, Aug. 22, 4:20 p.m., at Baylor and Villanova in Saratoga, for expired registration, inappropriate display of license plates, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

Probation Violation

  • Trevor Howell, 41, of Gilroy, Aug. 27, 4 p.m., at the South County Courthouse at 115 Terraine in San Jose, for felony probation violation for revocation.
