Police on Lookout For Taser-Wielding Man Who Robbed Convenience Store

Area law-enforcement are asking for the public's assistance in apprehending a heavy set Hispanic male approximately 5-foot-7, wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and tan baseball hat believed to have robbed a convenience store in Campbell Thursday.

A man walked into a Campbell convenience shop Thursday morning and used a stun gun on the clerk to rob him, according to authorities.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., the taser-wielding man held up  the Bottle Shop, 2345 S. Winchester Blvd.

The suspect is described as a heavy set Hispanic male approximately 5-foot-7. He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a tan baseball hat, police said. 

The suspect was holding a large “Hello Kitty” bag during the incident, police added.

After the robbery, the suspect ran to an awaiting older white Pontiac Grand Prix being driven by a woman. The Pontiac had yellow DGDG.com paper plates with black lettering.

Campbell Police said a short time after the robbery, the suspect vehicle was seen driving northbound on Bascom Avenue at Fruitdale Avenue.
