Police Log: Drivers Crash Into Sign, Hydrant, Tree

The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. The incidents are for the period of Sept. 4-8, 2013.

Outstanding Warrant: 12:10 a.m. Sept. 4 at Lark and University avenues, a 44-year-old man was cited for an expired registration and an outstanding warrant.
Identity Theft: 9:32 a.m. Sept. 4 on Lu Ray Drive, a suspect stole mail and obtained personal information used to open several credit cards.
Grand Theft: 10:34 a.m. Sept. 4 on Kavin Lane
Petty Theft: 11:23 a.m. Sept. 4 on Lilac Lane
Grand Theft: 2 p.m. Sept. 4 on Pennsylvania Avenue, online report
Vandalism: 2 p.m. Sept. 4 on Hershner Drive, online report
Identity Theft: 1:38 p.m. Sept. 4 on Drakes Bay Avenue, online report
Property Damage Accident: 2:27 p.m. Sept. 4 at Los Gatos Boulevard and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road
Property Damage: 4:49 p.m. Sept. 4 at Los Gatos Boulevard and Farley Road, a dark blue mini struck a sign on the center median and a van pulled over to move the sign. It's unknown if the driver stayed or drove off.
Commercial Burglary: 12:43 a.m. Sept. 6, at 50 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd., a locked door was forced open at the Los Gatos Lodge.
Death: 9:33 a.m. Sept. 6 on Oak Road, a man was found dead on his couch, no foul play is suspected.
Property Damage Accident: 12:53 p.m. Sept. 6 at Blossom Hill Road and Camellia Terrace, an elderly man in a green Jeep Cherokee hit a fire hydrant and tree
Lost Property: 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 on Los Gatos Boulevard, a woman lost her laptop computer after leaving it on a chair in a restaurant.
Vandalism: 9:49 p.m. Sept. 6 at Los Gatos High School, 20 High School Court, a juvenile accused of vandalism was released to a parent.
Missing Juvenile: 10:18 p.m. Sept. 6 on Loma Alta Avenue, a missing juvenile is reported from the EMQ FamiliesFirst facility.
Unknown Injury Accident: 10:03 p.m. Sept. 6 at southbound Highway 17 and Los Gatos Saratoga Road, a vehicle crashed on the off-ramp but the motorist escaped injury.
Disturbance/Domestic Violence: 1:08 a.m. Sept. 7 on Hershner Driver, a 40-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence.
Residential Burglary: 7:48 a.m. Sept. 7 on Jackson Street, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence while its occupants were sleeping, stole property and fled the scene.
Stolen Vehicle: 10:34 a.m. Sept. 7 on Blossom Hill Road, a vehicle was reported stolen
Bike Theft: 4:03 p.m. Sept. 8 on Las Astas Drive, someone took a bike from the front of a residence.
