Police Log: Car Strikes Child's Bike, Burglars Steal Silver, Liquor

The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department. The incidents are for the period of Sept. 12-15, 2013.

Harassment: 6:40 p.m. Sept. 12 at an undisclosed location, a man reported receiving multiple text messages threatening his safety.
Narcotics: 12:25 a.m. Sept. 13 at Blossom Hill Road and Union Avenue, a 39-year-old woman was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for being under the influence of a stimulant.
Vehicle Code Violation: 3:12 a.m. Sept. 13 at Dell and Hacienda avenues, a 30-year-old man was cited for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
Property Damage Accident: 7:51 a.m. Sept. 13 at Los Gatos Boulevard and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road, a child walking his bicycle was hit by a car but was not injured.
Disturbance/Domestic Violence: 1:34 p.m. Sept. 12 at 170 Knowles Drive, a man was booked into Santa Clara County Jail for domestic violence after the San Jose Police Department issued a felony affidavit for his arrest with the assistance of the LGMSPD.
Vandalism: 8:37 a.m. Sept. 13 on Belblossom Way, unknown suspect(s) vandalized tires on two parked vehicles overnight.
Residential Burglary: 9:18 a.m. Sept. 13 at 55 Church St., unknown suspects entered the storage room in the common garage area and stole two sets of sterling silver bags containing several items from Williams-Sonoma and a box containing liquor.
Grand Theft: 9:46 a.m. Sept. 13 at 980 University Ave., a Giant Sedona bike valued at $380 that was locked with chain and padlock was stolen.
Vandalism: 9:50 a.m. Sept. 13 on Oak Meadow Drive, an outdoor light valued at $100 was damaged during a toilet papering incident.
Annoying Phone Calls: 9:53 a.m. Sept. 13 at 815 Pollard Rd., between 40 and 50 automated calls were received offering free cruises.
Petty Theft: 9:56 a.m. Sept. 13 on Magneson Terrace, unknown suspects entered victim's unlocked vehicle taking Dior and Ray-Ban sunglasses, a hand-crank radio and a user manual.
Vandalism: 10 a.m. Sept. 13 at 100 Oak Rim Court, an unknown suspect appeared to have bicycled into parked vehicle causing a yellow rubber scrape on vehicle's door handle and black rubber marks on bottom of door. The car's front mirror was also flipped.
Grand Theft: 10:05 a.m. Sept. 13 on Ross Creek Court, multiple packages from online orders delivered from UPS and FedEx were taken from porch.
Petty Theft: 10:09 a.m. Sept. 13 on Cherry Blossom Lane, a pocket book was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Abandoned Vehicle: 9:29 a.m. Sept. 10 on Farley Road West
Auto Burglary: 5:49 p.m. Sept. 13 on Belhaven Drive, an unknown suspect slashed the victim's boat cover and stole property from the boat.
Bike Theft: 7:34 p.m. Sept. 13 at 201 No. Santa Cruz Ave., a bicycle was stolen
Public Intoxication: 10:40 p.m. Sept. 13 at 15773 Union Ave., a 48-year-old woman was arrested for being drunk in public.
Identity Theft: 8:39 a.m .Sept. 14 on San Mateo Avenue, an unknown suspect obtained the victim's identity to create a fraudulent credit card.
Warrant Service: 8:06 p.m. Sept. 14 at 16861 Cypress Way, a 23-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding $10,000 bail warrant for aiding, abetting, soliciting, or conspiring to present any false or fraudulent claim for the payment of a loss or injury, including payment of a loss or injury under a contract of insurance.
Vandalism: 9:54 p.m. Sept. 14 on Wedgewood Avenue, an identified suspect was videotaped vandalizing the victim's vehicle.
DUI: 1:13 a.m. Sept. 15 on W. Main Street at University Avenue, a 51-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail for DUI after running a stop sign.
