Patch Watch: Highway 17 Graffiti Still There And Growing!

Our weekly look at blight and other problem zones in and around Los Gatos.

The added tags are painted in red ink, right next to two larger black, gray and white markings seen above overgrown dry brush as one travels southbound on the highway and on the wall's west side.

The reader reporting the graffiti last month said that the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department already knows about the two earlier tags and that its graffiti busters are in the process of cleaning it up.

LOCATION: West stone wall next to Highway 17 on Lark Avenue in Los Gatos.

PROBLEM: Graffiti has been spray-painted on the wall.

RESPONSIBLE PARTY: Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Department, (408) 399-5770, or ppw@losgatosca.gov.

DATE REPORTED: July 17.

DAYS ON WATCH: 22
