Dr. Jasna Mrdjen, 69, of Mountain View, was arrested in May for allegedly running a "pill mill" operation out of a small clinic at 14125 Capri Drive in Los Gatos.
During a hearing Monday, Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Philip H. Pennypacker scheduled Mrdjen's next hearing for 1:30 p.m.
She faces 12 other felony counts alleging that she conspired to sell controlled substances by excessively prescribing narcotics (Oxycodone) to patients involved in illegal diversion and resale, said Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney Dana Veazey.
Mrdjen didn't appear during the hearing, but her attorney, Guyton Jinkerson did. He has not returned calls from Los Gatos Patch seeking comment.
Veazey said additional charges aren't forthcoming at this time.
She was arraigned on the charges May 14.
Mrdjen has not entered a plea. "We'll be going back for discussion to figure out how the case will be decided," Veazey said.
