No One Hurt in Los Gatos Linda Avenue Fire, $10K in Damages

Blaze burns inside of an exterior wall; cause was electrical arcing and equipment failure.

Santa Clara County firefighters battled a house fire last week on Linda Avenue in Los Gatos, but said no one was hurt.

According to a report, the blaze began at about 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 15971 Linda Ave., and caused $10,000 in damages and content losses of $200.

The blaze burned inside an exterior wall about 3-foot by 2-foot. The cause was electrical arcing and failure of equipment, the report said.

It's not clear from the report if any residents were home at the time of the fire.
