Motorcyclists Suspected of Assaulting Driver in Los Gatos Road Rage Case

Incident is said to have occurred the evening of Sunday, April 28 on Los Gatos Boulevard.

 

A road rage incident turned violent when two motorcyclists are suspected of assaulting the driver of an SUV on Sunday, April 28 on Los Gatos Boulevard, and is being investigated by local police.

According to Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police Detective Sgt. Clint Tada, the incident began before 7:55 p.m. as aggressive and angry behavior by the motorcyclists toward the driver at Los Gatos Boulevard and Los Gatos Almaden Road.

It escalated from there when the motorcyclists are said to have assaulted the driver in a parking lot at 15200 Los Gatos Blvd.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at about 8 p.m. that evening and arrested one of the motorcyclists, Enrique Arciga Nava, 43, on suspicion of assaulting the driver, Sgt. Tada said.

The investigation is ongoing and confirmation of the identification of the second suspect motorcyclist is in process, Sgt. Tada added.

The driver of the SUV sustained minor abrasions to various parts of his body and complaints of pain due to the alleged assault, Sgt. Tada said.
