Man Assaults Fiance in Los Gatos

Oakland couple's argument at Los Gatos Lodge escalates into domestic violence.

 

An Oakland man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail last Friday evening after police say he assaulted his fiance at the Los Gatos Lodge.

Damon Moragne, 29, was detained by Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police at 10:43 p.m. May 3 at 50 Los Gatos-Saratoga Rd., on suspicion of domestic violence.

According to police Sgt. spokesman Stephen Walpole, Moragne began arguing with his 27-year-old girlfriend around 10 p.m. physically injuring her during the altercation.

The victim's injuries were caused when Moragne hit the Oakland woman, Sgt. Walpole added.

No weapons were used and the victim’s injuries did not require hospitalization, Sgt. Walpole said.
