A 44-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail the evening of Friday, Oct. 4 after police say he became angry and threatened a downtown Los Gatos restaurant employee with a steak knife.
According to the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police report, the suspect was asked to leave the North Santa Cruz Avenue establishment at 10:42 p.m., which caused him to become upset.
It's unclear from the report why the man was booted out of the restaurant, but police say its operators requested he be prosecuted.
