Four people were taken into custody for being drunk in town Feb. 21-24.
Now, three similar arrests at the beginning of the month bring the total to seven such crimes within a two-week period.
The Los Gatos Monte Sereno police blotter shows three drunk-in-public arrests between March 1-4 and one man arrested for urinating in public.
The first incident happened at 8:35 p.m. Friday, March 1 on Stacia Street in Los Gatos when police arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail Denise Duplessis Gletzer, 55, for public intoxication.
That same evening, at 11:58 p.m., Matthew Emmanuel Thompson, 22, was cited for urinating in public on West Main Street and Santa Cruz Avenue.
At 2:33 a.m. Sunday, March 3, police arrested Matthew John Heinrichs, 25, for public intoxication at 200 W. Main St.
The next day, at 5:37 p.m. Monday, March 4, police arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail Jeffrery Michael Tuboli, 30, after being found too intoxicated to care for his own safety in front of the Los Gatos Library, 100 Villa Ave.
