Los Gatos Police Log: Woman's Purse, Car Stolen; Facebook Harassment

The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police. The incidents are for the period of Dec. 6-8, 2013.

Assault: 8:40 p.m. Dec. 6 on Las Miradas Drive, a battery was reported
Property Damage Accident: 9:17 a.m. Dec. 7 at Winchester Boulevard and Knowles Drive
Vehicle Recovery: 10:08 a.m. Dec. 7 on Capri Drive and Division Street, a vehicle was reported stolen by the Campbell Police Department and recovered in Los Gatos.
Assault: 1:56 p.m. Dec. 6 on Constances Court, a man came to the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department to report he was a victim of battery that had occurred the prior day.
Commercial Burglary: 12:55 p.m. Dec. 7 at 4 New York Avenue
Commercial Burglary: 7:16 p.m. Dec. 7 at 1496 Pollard Road, a woman's purse is reported stolen and her car was also taken after the suspect obtained the vehicle's keys from her purse.
Harassment: 6:58 p.m. Dec. 7 on Riviera Drive, a suspect posted things on a victim's Facebook page posing as the victim.
Hit-And-Run: 3 p.m. Dec. 8 on Carlton Avenue
Minor Injury Accident: 3:05 p.m. Dec. 8 at Calle Marguerita and Wedgewood Avenue
Arrest Warrant: 5:11 p.m. Dec. 8 at Garden Lane and Oakdale Drive, a 52-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after an officer responded to investigate a report of a suspicious person near Garden Lane and Oak Park Drive. The suspect was contacted near 15299 Los Gatos Blvd. where he was placed under arrest for three outstanding bench warrants for his arrest.
