The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police. The incidents are for the period of Dec. 19-27, 2013.

  • Vandalism: 11:56 a.m. Dec. 19, 2013 on Church Street
  • Petty Theft: 1:02 p.m. Dec. 19, 2013 on Englewood Avenue
  • Petty Theft: 1:20 p.m. Dec. 19, 2013 at undisclosed location
  • Suspicious Activity: 11:59 a.m. Dec. 19, 2013 on El Porton, a citizen reported hearing a loud bang or explosion in the neighborhood and police located damage to private property. A report was taken concerning a possible vehicle collision.
  • Town Code Violation: 3:52 p.m. Dec. 19, 2013 on Loma Street
  • Warrant Service: 10:35 a.m. Dec. 20, 2013, a 21-year-old man self-surrendered on a warrant.
  • Forgery: 10:16 a.m. Dec. 20, 2013 on Serena Vista Court, a check was forged after it was stolen from a resident's mailbox.
  • Commercial Burglary: 11:13 a.m. Dec. 20, 2013 at 40 No. Santa Cruz Ave., a retail establishment was burglarized overnight.
  • Found Property: 11:51 a.m. Dec. 20, 2013 at  Los Gatos Boulevard and Blossom Hill Road, found property was brought to the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Operations Building.
  • Minor Injury Accident: 5:16 p.m. Dec. 20, 2013 on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road in Monte Sereno
  • DUI: 1:59 a.m. Dec. 21, 2013 at W. Main Street and No. Santa Cruz Avenue, a 30-year-old man was arrested for DUI after a traffic enforcement stop.
  • Commercial Burglary: 4:58 a.m. Dec. 21, 2013 at 14172 Blossom Hill Road, a business was burglarized
  • Mail Tampering: 8:35 a.m. Dec. 21, 2013 on Zena Avenue, a citizen reported the theft of mail from a residential mailbox
  • Commercial Burglary: 9:57 a.m. Dec. 22, 2013 at 16400 Lark Ave., a TV was stolen from a business
  • Petty Theft: 11:39 a.m. Dec. 22, 2013 on Nob Hill Way, a theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported
  • Mail Tampering: 1:04 p.m. Dec. 23, 2013 on Del Cerro Court, a woman reported a suspect(s) broke into her mailbox
  • Arrest Warrant: 3:38 p.m. Dec. 23, 2013 at Knowles Drive and Winchester Boulevard, a driver was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after he was stopped for displaying expired tabs and was found to be driving with a suspended driver's license and warrants.
  • Fraud: 7:51 p.m. Dec. 23, 2013 at 15900 Los Gatos Blvd., an innkeeper was defrauded in the area of Blossom Hill Road and Cherry Blossom Lane.
  • Disturbance: 6:55 p.m. Dec. 28, 2013 on Blossom Hill Road, a domestic dispute was reported that occurred Dec. 27, 2013.
  • Auto Burglary: 9:50 a.m. Dec. 28, 2013 on Montgomery Street
  • Auto Burglary: 5:55 a.m. Dec. 28, 2013 on Montgomery Street
  • Public Intoxication: 1:20 a.m. Dec. 28, 2013 on Loma Alta Avenue, a 32-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public
  • Possession: 11:55 a.m. Dec. 24, 2013 at Cherry Blossom Lane and Lilac Way, a 64-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail after being seen driving and being known for having a suspended license. After the suspect was stopped, he was found in possession and under the influence of meth.
  • Vandalism: 7:11 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013 at Bella Vista Avenue and Los Gatos-Saratoga Road
  • Fraud: 2:33 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013 on North Santa Cruz Avenue, a man dropped his wallet and his credit cards were used to make fraudulent charges.
  • Commercial Burglary: 12:50 p.m. Dec. 27 on University Avenue, an unknown suspect entered the storage unit building
  • Petty Theft: 1:09 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013 on Golf Links Drive, online report
  • Vandalism: 12:07 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013 on Church Street, online report
  • Petty Theft: 11:53 a.m. Dec. 27, 2013 on Oka Road, online report
